How to bet Guide
A night out at The Dogs wouldn't be complete unless you had a bet on the Tote. With a race every fifteen minutes and bets starting from just 50p you will have a number of chances to go home with more money than you came with as your selected greyhound's pass the winning line.
Where to Bet
There are 3 ways in which you can place your bets on the Tote during your evening:
At the Tote Booths
If you are visiting the stadium trackside there are plenty of tote booths with extremely helpful and friendly tote staff on hand to help you place your bets and answer any questions you may have.
Self Bet Machines
If you are feeling more confident of placing your bet yourself you can use one of the self-bet machines which are also dotted around the stadium.
Restaurant and Executive Suite Diners
A tote betting attendant will come to your table to take your bets and help you with any questions on the type of bets available. You will also find on your table a simple and easy selections form to hand to the tote betting attendant.

Betting options explained
To help you decide what types of bets you wish to place we have explained the options below.
As you would expect the winnings receive back from your original betting stakes will vary dependent upon the type of bet placed. It would usually be the case that the Place bet would return the lowest winnings relating to your bet placed and the Trio would return the highest winnings.

Some Hints and Tips
- Please bet early to avoid disappointment
- Check your ticket and change carefully as mistakes cannot be rectified after the race has started
- No under 18’s are allowed to bet
- Dividends / Winnings on the tote are declared to a £1 stake and displayed around the stadium
