Welfare of the dogs at
Oxford Greyhound Stadium
The greyhounds have raced week in and week out... they have trained and given of their best to the cheers of the crowd. They have provided us with thrills, excitement and great entertainment, and when they finally come to the end of their racing career it is our turn to look after the retired greyhounds and help find them a loving home.

The Oxford Retired Greyhound Trust
This is when the Retired Greyhound Trust (RGT) steps in to help to find greyhounds a caring home.
Thousands of families love the dogs for their gentle and affectionate nature. Greyhounds are natural couch potatoes wonderful companions and are fantastic with children., greyhounds love to be lazy and need just two 20-minute walks a day.
About 9000 greyhounds retire from racing every year all of whom need to be loved and cared for.
The Oxford RGT team are always very active in organising fund-raising events throughout the year. If you would like to help, either in fund-raising or home checking, please visit the website for retired greyhounds – www.oxfordrgt.co.uk
If you can help, give a dog a home. They make fantastic pets
