Charity & Fund raising at
Hall Green Stadium Birmingham
Hall Green Greyhound Stadium is the ideal venue for fund-raising and Charity events, with national Charities, local charitable organisations and good causes all having organised successful events and raised substantial amounts of money.
You can stage your event either in our Grandstand Restaurant, privately in our Executive Suites or a combination of both.
There are a range of packages to choose from, all at a special Charities and Fund-raising discount rates.
Over the years here at Hall Green and at our other tracks around the country we have worked with a combination of local and national charities including The Variety Club, Guide Dogs For the Blind, The Woodland Trust, various Cancer charity groups and of course our own Retired Greyhound Trust.
There are several ways in which you can raise funds during a night at the dogs here are a few fund-raising ideas or suggestions below to help you maximise your funds.
Special Events
We are more than happy to help you stage your own special event during your fund-raising evening for example human races around the stadium track are a favourite with some of our fund-raisers.
Presentation Race Sponsorship
Groups, individuals or businesses are invited to sponsor a presentation race for a minimum donation eg £100 per race. (We charge the Charity only £30 to cover trophy and other costs) that’s £70 profit per race for the charity, Usually there are 12 to 13 races during the evening funds raised £840 to £910.
Greyhound Nomination
On average 78 greyhounds race during the evening. Invite guests to nominate a greyhound at say £10.00 (£780.00 raised). You will need to provide a sponsored prize for each race. The nominator of the winning greyhound in each race wins the prize.
Race Programme Advertising
Sell advertising space to sponsors. The charity or fund-raisers pay between £40 to £100.
Charity Collection and Raffles
We are delighted to allow stadium-wide Charity collections or maybe hold a raffle for sponsored prizes selling tickets to anyone in the stadium, our commentator will assist on the night publicising the event.
Auction
Organise an auction with sponsored prizes (only available in Executive Suites).
Working together it is possible to raise as much as £5000 per night
